Hi! My name is Alberte. I was born in 2020 just outside of Copenhagen and have always had a huge passion for clothes and fashion. My interest started when I was around 11 years old and received my grandma's fashion scraps that I used to make clothes for my dolls. Most girls remember the drawing book Top Model; this was my holy grail. The passion grew as I got older, and my interest in sustainability started when I began to shop in the local charity shop and upcycled their inexpensive clothes to try to keep up with all the smart girls at my school.This was actually where Baun Studio began. With a small Instagram account called "Muffes thrift shop," where I sold my upcycled items. Within just 2 weeks, I gained 500 followers, and now, 4 years later, we are still going strong.

First and foremost, Baun Studio is a personal reflection of my life. Most of the inspiration is drawn from where I grew up and some of the struggles I faced trying to find clothes that fit my body type. I am tall, have big thighs, and a smaller waist. There's nothing worse than wearing clothes that are too tight and restrict movement. Lastly, I like to stand out and reflect my funny and at times weird personality through my clothes.

I have endeavored to create a brand that focuses on body positivity through sizing and design, as well as responsibility throughout the entire design process. I acknowledge that this is not an easy task, and I don't always make the right choices, but I will keep trying.

Baun Studio wants to bring the party into your everyday life and helps you shine! We create clothes that you can wear on the dancefloor as well as the couch by using soft and stretchy materials with original and colorfull prints.
